Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UAV)
Unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) are no longer experimental. Both Russia and Ukraine are using them on the battlefield. These ground drones are performing logistics, medical evacuation, engineering, ISR, fire support, and infantry support tasks.
The use of UGV keeps soldiers away from the frontlines of the battlefield - saving lives. That results in more soldiers available for offensive operations and a slower rate of personnel attrition.
