James Wilson, October 20, 2022) The MQ-9 has a range of 1,150 miles, a payload of 3,750 pounds, can fly up to 50,000 feet, and costs about $56 million. It is operated remotely by a crew of two; one pilot and one sensor operator. The Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) drone is also capable of armed attack.
