U.S. 15-Point Ceasefire Proposal - March 2026On March 24, 2026, the United States presented Iran, using Pakistan as an intermediary, with a 15-point ceasefire proposal. The Iranians rejected the U.S. proposal and countered with their own 5-point plan. Iran has dismissed an initial 15-point ceasefire proposal from the United States, according to the state-run Fars news agency. Iranian state television stated quoted an anonomous official as saying "Iran will end the war when it decides to do so and when its own conditions are met." The proposal had been received on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. There are currently no U.S. documents that list all of the 15 points. Typically, in negotiations, the details don't emerge until later. Some details are purposely leaked to the media.
